Paradiso
About This Spot
Stepping into Paradiso, you’re gently invited into a refined escape tucked away in the heart of Santo Antônio. What starts as a quiet, understated entrance slowly unfolds into a softly lit courtyard where the rhythm of the city feels a little more distant, replaced by comfortable conversations and the occasional murmur of live music. The pace here is deliberately unhurried, a place where time seems to stretch just enough for each plate and sip to be savored without rush.
This Italian restaurant feels less like a bustling neighborhood spot and more like a cherished evening retreat, where attention to detail is woven into the fabric of the experience. Whether you find yourself seated outside on a warm evening or inside amidst carefully chosen décor, the atmosphere strikes a delicate balance between classic elegance and inviting warmth.
The menu, inviting and thoughtful, reveals itself through dishes that embrace the rich traditions of Italy with a local, personal touch. Here, risottos arrive creamy and comforting, their flavors layered with fresh seafood or tender cuts that speak of skillful preparation. Drinks flow alongside meals with care — glasses of wine reflecting moments to unwind, and cocktails and juices that refresh without overshadowing. Sweet finishes, like delicate tartlets or a molten lava cake, offer a quiet note to close the evening on.
Paradiso's charm lies not just in its food but in the human moments unfolding here: the laughter shared at neighboring tables under the open sky, the attentive service that feels discreet rather than staged, and the subtle surprises—like that unexpected comforting scent or the welcoming hum of a familiar song playing softly in the background. It’s a spot that invites return visits not merely for the plates, but for a measured sense of belonging within its softly glowing atmosphere.

A classic fancy restaurant, a bit pricy as always, but noting to complain.

Really nice restaurant with good service. On the pricier side but worth a visit

Nice atmosphere in the patio. Unimpressive entrance of the restaurant, which then is compensated by the nicely decorated courtyard.

We love this place!!! Food is amazing, risotto is the best. We love the presentation of the food, the drinks, live music and the smell of the bathroom! Lol! Ask for a table outside! Great experience for a warm day!!!!
